My photo portrait is of Alison Burns, a Phillip Merrill journalism professor and director of College Park Scholars Media, Self and Society Program. I choose Mrs. Burns because she is very knowledgeable in the field of journalism and office reflect that. From these photos, I think a local news station or campus publication would cover her on a story about uplifting student journalists.
