Every Wednesday during the spring and fall seasons, vendors come to Tawes Plaza for the UMD farmers market. Student's enjoy being able to buy different food items, clothing and jewelry from local businesses. Outlets like The Diamondback or Stories Beneath the Shell would likely cover this event. They could either focus on the event itself or on specific vendors.
