D.C.-ers flocked to the NoMa Farmer's Market Thursday evening. It was the opening week of the seasonal market in Northeast Washington, which runs from April to October. These photos of market-goers and stalls could work for local D.C. publications -- Washingtonian, Washington City Paper -- or even for a small feature in the Post's Metro section.
Members of The Hare, a student-run satirical magazine at the University of Maryland, handing out copies of the magazine's most recent issue. These photos could accompany a feature story about the publication, its founding and what it's like to write satire in the current political climate; or the current attitude of university administrators. Could work for the Diamondback or CNS..
These photos of ongoing Purple Line construction could accompany a story about the continuous delays in the project, perhaps coinciding with the anniversary of groundbreaking.
