This is one of my best friends, Pera Onal. She is a journalism major at the University of Maryland and a Staff Writer for The Diamondback, the campus newspaper. Onal attends the College Park City Council meetings every week and reports on what was discussed and argued. She is one of the hardest-working student journalists there is, and she dreams to work for NBC News one day.
