My friend, Soli Jacobson, is a first year vocal performance major at the University of Maryland. As a performing arts student, she has to balance practicing her art and academics. This includes days where she spends hours in the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center doing vocal and piano practice on top of her normal school work.
