For this project, I decided to ask my friend Spencer to serve as the subject for my photos. Spencer is a sophomore soil sciences major with a bubbly personality that betrays his solemn appearance. This shoot was taken while he was completing a soil-testing assignment for one of his classes. My main goal was to demonstrate the dichotomy between Spencer's rather intense resting face and his true, mischievous nature.
