For this assignment, I chose to do a portrait album of Rob Smith, freshman wide receiver for the Maryland Terrapins Football Team. Rob is originally from Houston, Texas and is the definition of a hard worker. I chose to focus on his work ethic, the photos of him lifting, and the the theme of his future, the photos of him overlooking the football stadium and him sitting underneath a quote from legendary Maryland wide receiver Torrey Smith. I think that lighting can truly change the meaning behind photos and I tried to play around with my aperture and exposure while doing this assignment.
