Photo Assignment #2, Sam Miller
This is my close friend Austin who is from the Philippines. He was born there and moved to Maryland at a very young age, but his family still cherish and remember where they came from. The only thing he brought to school to help remind him of his culture was his Philippines flag.
Austin feels like the flag represents who he is, and he is very proud of where he came from.
Austin enjoys having the flag on his shoulders as it makes him feel at peace.
This photo embodies the flag as the sun beams on him the same way the sun shines on the flag.
