Assignment #1, Brennan

A student enters the University of Maryland's Study Abroad Fair on Wednesday. The event, aimed to educate students on opportunities to take their classwork around the globe, occurred from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Several tables line Stamp's Grand Ballroom. Students meander from one to the next.

Balloons and white signs depict each program that had information at the fair. The Special Programs in Arabic & Persian table sits at the front of the ballroom.
Students discuss study abroad opportunities on the far side of the ballroom. Several people ask questions to a designated volunteer.

At the Japan study abroad table, small figures representing local towns cluster around the main sign. The figures serve as a source of joy and hope for local residents during and after natural disasters.
