| Matt Walters, 20, is a junior Computer Science major here at UMD. He's played the guitar since he was a kid. Matt writes original songs and plays covers for fun and relaxation, often going home to Bethesda to jam out with his younger brother, Michael. During this photo shoot, he strummed some of his favorite songs: "Here Comes The Sun" by The Beatles, "Sweet Creature" by Harry Styles and "Fluorescent Adolescent" by Arctic Monkeys. I didn't originally plan to take photos of Matt, but my planned subject had to back out. Matt is my friend Courtney's boyfriend, and he wrote and recorded a song for her for Valentine's Day, which put the idea in my head to document Matt and his guitar for this assignment. |
