Sahana Venkatesh, sophomore at the University of Maryland, sits in a dark room with a disco ball, backlit by her desk lamp.  

Venkatesh lays on the floor of her dorm room late at night.

Venkatesh holds finger lights to her face in a dark room. 

Finger lights are used to create colorful lighting in front of a dorm room window. 

Standing in front of the window, Venkatesh is lit up by the street lights outside of Oakland Hall. 

Venkatesh is lit up by just the window light in her bedroom.
