I created a kit that enables me to be prepared for any situation. I have backups, quality Apple products, weather gear, and more. My kit totaled $14,945.71.

Flowers Camera Kit

I plan to employ street photography within my journalistic aspirations, so I created a kit that I feel will prove most beneficial towards this goal. I was interested in the documentary about Vivian Maiern and her personal style, so I included a Rolleiflex in my camera bodies as I feel it creates a unique atmosphere. I also included a few different bodies that I feel will all create distinct images, and will also be more accessible to travel with than the Rolleiflex, which is crucial to street photography. I wanted to assemble a versatile kit, so I included a diverse range of lenses. In my supplemental supplies I linked an Adobe Cloud membership for photo editing, a MacBook and SD card adapter, and travel supplies to transport all my materials. I also linked an iPhone as a camera body, as that is the most convenient manner of street photography.

 I’m looking for camera materials that can support my goals as a street photographer. I want to be able to capture a variety of angles in a variety of perspectives, and the materials I’ve chosen will help me do so. Also, I wanted to get a Rolleiflex as inspired by Vivian Maier, since the pictures she was able to capture seemed more interpersonal. I chose a variety of lenses, some subtle and some not, just to get a versatility of options. I chose a subtle backpack that can also carry a laptop for instant photo transferring and a monopod for overall shots.  Travel Style Kit

The motivation behind my camera equipment and choices revolves around the idea of becoming a travel photographer. Two of my camera bodies chosen were photo-specific, both built for travel and performance. The drone and Sony Alpha 7C are meant for videos, something that would also be interesting for a travel photographer. My backpacks chosen are compact, not too large, and are still able to fit all of my materials.
